Our Trails
The Upper Valley Stewardship Center invites you to visit our trails for your hiking, biking, birding, wandering, meditating, cross-country and backcountry skiing pleasure. We are home to The Innstead Mountain Getaway Trail Network and The Pike Glades backcountry ski area, a collaboration with the Granite Backcountry Alliance. Our trails are free and open to the public and are designed to meet the needs of all skill and fitness levels.

Our extensive trails and paths offer a wide variety of options to visitors of all ability levels and areas of interest. Most of the trails at the heart of our land (Upper/Lower Becket, Yahoo & Yahoo Cutoff, O'Brien) are doubletrack trails that are great for mountain biking, hiking, trail running, and cross-country skiing alike. These lower wildlife fields offer some of the most breathtaking views and pockets of serenity that our land has to offer. The upper portion of our trail system presents more challenging, steep terrain and is appropriate for those seeking the extra push to our summit, Iron Mtn (2052'), with the payoff of a stunning northeast-facing view of the Benton Range's Black Mtn (2830') and Sugarloaf Mtn (2609') and of the broad shoulders of Mt Moosilauke (4802'), our neighborhood NH 4,000-footer.
Come out and see for yourself!
