Apple Cider Open House at the Upper Valley Stewardship Center
Join us at the Upper Valley Stewardship Center’s Eve Outdoor Center for this family-friendly day of fun and learning. Learn how to make apple cider, build your own birdhouse, go on a hayride tour of our trails, and enjoy a thrill on our low ropes course elements. This event is free and open to the public and will be offered to our community in celebration of the life and legacy of David James Moody.

Forestry for the Small Wood Lot Landowner
Join forester Andrew Westerman to discuss do-it-yourself forestry practices for small woodlot landowners. Whether you have half an acre or 50 acres, you can take steps to improve your forest. We’ll discuss topics like timber stand improvement, enhancement plantings, wildlife habitat, and non-timber forest products. This tour will be a combination of short walks and driving into the forest.

Explore our secret and growing stash of beginner-friendly mtb trails with UVSC’s Director of Experience Bill Kearney. We’ll set off from the Eve Outdoor Center @ 4pm. Bring your helmets, bikes, water bottles, and a snack for the ride. All ages welcome!

Group MTB Ride: Summit Combo of Blueberry Mtn & Iron Mtn
In need of a late-season push? Join UVSC’s Director of Experience Bill Kearney for this burly, expert-only mtb undertaking of two of our region’s most prized summits: Blueberry Mtn (2662’) and our property summit, Iron Mtn (2052’). We will ride a combination of road, railbed and trail to accomplish this feat, and riders should expect a dose of hike-a-bike while summiting Blueberry Mtn from the west.
Ride will depart from the Upper Valley Stewardship Center, located at 7 Dean Hill Rd. in Pike, NH. Join us for a pre-ride coffee @ 9:30, complements of UVSC!

Pike Glades Locals Trail Work Day
Join the Upper Valley Stewardship Center team and our committed group of local volunteers (that’s YOU!) for this year’s effort to get our beloved Pike Glades ready for winter! We are excited to announce that this year’s effort will be focused on a new descent line from the fields below Marvin Cabin to the railbed below. We have completed the rough cut and we need your help to fine-tune this latest addition to the Pike Glades trail map. We’ll aim to descend by 3 pm in order to fill our bellies with a hearty meal of gratitude until 4.
